News: The Al Snow training seminar will no longer be taking place on Thursday the 30th; it has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th, at the Portsmouth Guildhall. The training will take place between 2PM and 5PM with a £40 admission charge. Please contact office@varsityprowrestling.com if you would like to attend. Varsity Pro Wrestling is pleased to announce that yet another former WWE superstar will be appearing on future live VPW shows; this time it is former European and Hardcore champion, and twenty six year veteran of wrestling, Al Snow! Al Snow will be appearing at two of the three shows at the end of this month and will also be appearing at a training seminar, the dates for the shows are as follows: Tuesday

"Kip James seemed to think that he could interrupt me while I was out in the ring talking, he seemed to think that he could embarrass me and order me out of the ring and that I would just walk away quietly. He was wrong. At the beginning of the night I made an example out of my opponent and at the end of the night I made an example of Kip James, a washed-up has been who should have been put down a long time ago. I've been trying to get rid of Kip James for far too long and now, after the beating I gave him, I think I've finally done it. He doesn't have the guts to turn up at the next show." After being busted open by a UK Kid chair shot Kip James was understandably angry and he will be even more angry when he reads The UK Kid's comments, but will he return to the UK at the end of the month to exact his revenge? And how will Al Snow fit into the puzzle? There's only one way to find out.
Kip James Returns To VPW Fans who attended the show in Bournemouth, the first of two shows on this tour, will know of the good and bad news that has come with these events. The bad news unfortunately is that Booker T wasn't on the show and won't be on tonight's show in Portsmouth. The good news is that Shawn Daivari did make it and fan favourite Kip James was able to make it as a last minute replacement, both Kip and Daivari will be on tonight's show in Portsmouth. Booker T's Arrival In Varsity Pro Wrestling Wednesday the 28th of May 2008 was an important night for Varsity Pro Wrestling, prior to the show that took place that night we had promised a huge announcement that fans would not want to miss and there's no doubt that we delivered. The show took place at the Portsmouth Guildhall and was the final show in VPW's International Invasion Tour, as with the other two nights of the tour the fans in attendance saw a top quality night of professional wrestling that VPW have become known to deliver. One wrestler on the card that night was Shawn Daivari who was scheduled to headline the show, prior to his match VPW ring announcer John Atkins managed to get what could be called a controversial interview with Daivari:
Daivari would battle VPW's homegrown star "The Devon Powerhouse" Chris Andrews in the main event of the evening, the fans witnessed a hard hitting encounter between the duo which was, unfortunately, won by Daivari after he used a low blow behind the referees back. While celebrating his cheap victory Daivari told the fans in attendance that he was the greatest wrestler in the world, before he could continue he was interrupted by this...
VPW's roster features many impressive pro wrestling stars but Booker T is without doubt the biggest and most impressive addition, it has raised the bar and set the standard higher than ever in British sports entertainment. The former six time world champion and King Of The Ring winner, who made his pro wrestling debut in 1989, will be appearing on two shows taking place on Thursday the 31st of July at the Solent Hall in Bournemouth and Saturday the 2nd of August at the Portsmouth Guildhall. Booker T Comes To
Varsity Pro Wrestling The big news coming out of this weeks tour is the latest, and by far the biggest, addition to the VPW roster and the biggest news in British wrestling in a long time: Booker T!
In what has to be considered a major coup for Varsity Pro Wrestling Booker T will be appearing in Bournemouth on the 31st of July and Portsmouth on the 2nd of August. By adding Booker T to our roster VPW has once again raised the bar and these are shows you won't want to miss. Another name has been added to next weeks tour: Shawn Daivari. Beginning his pro wrestling training at the age of 15, Daivari idolized Mick Foley, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, in 2000 he made his wrestling debut and four years later was signed by the WWE. Over the next four years Shawn appeared on RAW, Smackdown and ECW wrestling the likes of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan. Now Daivari is coming to Varsity Pro Wrestling and will appear on two shows on the International Invasion Tour, those shows being in Bournemouth and Portsmouth. Daivari will be joining Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, The Masterpiece, The UK Kid, Spiro, Robbie Everest and more on the tour which will also feature an announcement you won't want to miss, so buy your tickets now!
After an absence of over one year Spiro will make his return to Varsity Pro Wrestling on the International Invasion Tour later this month. The former pupil of "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is the current Heavyweight and Openweight division champion for Southern Championship Wrestling in Texas, USA. Spiro has made it clear to VPW management that he has no problem defending either of his championship belts against any of the available wrestlers on the tour. Along with Spiro the tour will feature The UK Kid, Robbie Everest, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore and "The Masterpiece" Chris Mordetzky, with more names to be announced soon. The tour will commence on Monday the 26th and finish on the Wednesday with shows in Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Exmouth. Another name has been confirmed for this months tour; now dubbed The International Invasion Tour. That name is Chris Mordetzky formerly known as Chris Masters! The Masterpiece will be making his return to Varsity Pro Wrestling after a successful debut tour in February and will be appearing on two shows for this tour in Bournemouth and Portsmouth. With

more names to be announced soon, these shows are sure to be packed with
excitement and will prove that VPW is the best place to catch live pro wrestling

former WWE champion is coming to Varsity Pro Wrestling, in this case it's Nick We are pleased to confirm that the former WWE Tag Team champion will be appearing on all three shows in May. These shows take place in Exmouth, Bournemouth and Portsmouth between the dates of May the 26th, 27th and 28th. VPW and our new friend look forward to seeing you there. Dates For Shows In May Announced Varsity Pro Wresting is pleased to announce three shows that will take place next month in May. VPW will be bringing yet more high quality, family entertainment to Bournemouth, Exmouth and Portsmouth, where the last show was attended by almost eight hundred fans. The dates are as follows: Monday
the 26th of May at the Exmouth Pavilion Tickets for what are sure to be three great nights of wrestling entertainment are £12.50 for adults and £10.50 for children for the show in Exmouth, tickets for the Bournemouth and Portsmouth shows are £12.50 for adults, £10 for child and £15 for front row seats. Results February's VPW International Superstars Tour came to an end last night with the final show of the tour taking place at the Bridgewater Town Hall in front of another sellout crowd of 250 fans. Here are the results: Chris

This months tour, aptly named The VPW International Superstars Tour due to the star power involved, has been a huge success and there's still one more show left! The tour started this past Tuesday with the first show taking place at the Guildhall in Portsmouth. Almost eight hundred wrestling fans turned out to see the show which was headlined by Kip James versus Chris Mordetzky, with the biggest attendance for a VPW event this show was clearly a massive success. The response from the fans all night certainly backed that up, the queue for photographs with "The Masterpiece" was so long that it delayed the interval! The second show, at the Exmouth Pavilion, saw a sell out crowd of three hundred and fifty fans in attendance for a show that featured a rematch between "The Masterpiece" Chris Mordetzky and Kip James, as well as the 2008 Exmouth Cup tournament which was won by Matt Vaughn. The tours third show, with a sell out crowd of five hundred and fifty fans, took place at the Bournemouth Pavilion and was such a success that the management at the Pavilion have requested that the next VPW show there be held in one of their bigger halls! Each show on the tour has featured great wrestling from stars already mentioned as well as the likes of The UK Kid, the Canadian Ballard Brothers, Andy Simmonz, Sam and Chris Andrews, Robbie Everest and more... and there's still one show left! The fourth and final show of the tour takes place tonight at the Town Hall in Bridgewater, we look forward to seeing you all there. Varsity Pro Wrestling would like to thank everyone who has attended the shows thus far, we are proud to bring you a high quality of wrestling entertainment. On
the last VPW
show in Portsmouth fan favourite Kip James defeated Matt Vaughn in the main
event of the evening; unfortunately Kip didn't have long to celebrate as his
victory was spoiled in brutal fashion by The UK Kid who was looking for payback
for comments made by James earlier in the night. When asked for comments about
the disgusting sneak attack The UK Kid said the following:

Shawn Daivari won his match Booker T appeared on the big screen and announced
that he would be joining VPW's tour in July, Booker went on to challenge Daivari;
which he accepted. That means that on the next VPW tour we'll see Daivari versus
Booker T!
